Cake 47-Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Nature Center

Found September 13, 2014

We had a nice walk along the Missouri River to find this cake.  St. Charles was hosting a carnival along the river that day, so it was fun to walk through that.  The boathouse was very beautiful, but undergoing a renovation.  (That is why there is caution tape shown in the picture.)

Andrew particularly enjoyed this cake, because it features is home state of North Dakota.  We decided to walk up to the museum, but decided we didn't want to pay the $5 fee to go in a see several artifacts that we've seen in other Lewis and Clark museums in the past.  I was particularly interested in seeing how high the floodwaters came up in the building a few years ago.  Now I understand why the museum is located on the upper level!
