This was another difficult find, as it wasn't quite on the corner of Tamm and Clayton, but just a little further west of the intersection on Clayton.
Dogtown is a traditionally Irish neighborhood in St. Louis, this is actually made up of four recognized city neighborhoods, and part of a fifth. It got it's name in the mid 1800's due to the mining term as there were several small clay and coal mines in the area.
I look forward to dining at Seamus McDaniels sometime in the future, as I have heard it is amazing!
