After having that month off from finding cakes, I had a goal to choose a different "section" of cakes every weekend to help conquer them all! This weekend we chose to get all the cakes near the hospitals on the east end of Forest Park. We managed to find all but two! (And we did come back for those two recently.)
St. Louis Children's Hospital opened it's doors in 1879. It was the first children's hospital west of the Mississippi River, and the seventh oldest in the country.
It now is the most popular Children's hospital in the St. Louis area and also serves as a pediatric training area for the nearby Washington University School of Medicine.
