I was very unsure of what the Jewel Box was before heading over to find the cake there. I was met with very beautiful gardens on our way up to the cake.
The Jewel Box is a large greenhouse in the middle of Forest Park that has stood in it's location since 1936. It underwent a major renovation in 2002 to restore it to it's original glory and can now be rented out for wedding parties and corporate meetings.
