Located just outside Scott Air Force Base, Scott Field began as an aviation training field for WWI pilots in August 1917. Today Scott Air Force Base is a global mobility and transportation hub for the Department of Defense, and is home to three flying units. 5 aircraft are on display in the Air Park that is open to the public.
