Cake 181- Laumeier Sculpture Park

Found November 28, 2014

We definitely should have parked in the south parking lot instead of the one that we did. However this cake was awesome since it was made of all sorts of scrap material, including rocks, nails, screws, and even turf.  In 1968, Matilda Laumeier bequeathed 72 acres that would become Laumeier Sculpture Park to Saint Louis County in honor of her late husband, Henry.  In September 1977, Laumeier Sculpture park took form.  The site has now grown to 105 acres.  It is one of a few outdoor museums in the world.
