Cake 202- Greenville Public Library

Found December 6, 2014

Greenville Public Library was formed in 1856, and was maintained in several area homes until 1900, when they decided to seek city support and a building. Construction began in 1904, and the building was open to the public on August 10, 1905.  Many of the original items, including the circulation desk, are still in use today.
