This Cake is located at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis, but is also the former site of Sportsman's Parks, which is where the St. Louis Browns and St Louis Cardinals baseball team as well as former St. Louis Cardinals football team played. The last game played at the ballpark was May 8, 1966. The Boys and Girls Club has been serving the area since 1967, with five locations throughout St. Louis. The club is open after-school and during the summer, when children are most in need of a safe place to learn and grow.
I really enjoyed how this cake was split in half, with one side dedicated to the Boys and Girls Club, and the other half portraying the history of Sportsman's Park.
